Fat Loss in 4 Minutes!
A study was then done at Physical Activities Sciences Laboratory, Laval University, Quebec, Canada, that compared the impact of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise and high-intensity aerobics on fat loss.
The results were that the low intensity group burned more calories during their workouts almost twice as many. But the high intensity group resulted in 9 times more fat loss for every calorie burned while exercising. Isn’t that amazing? Nine times more fat loss!
So how did this happen?
The high-intensity training continued to burn more calories when the workout was over. The high intensity group raised their metabolic rate to increase their Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) or “afterburn effect.”
What does this all mean to you?
Increase your intensity by taking your workout to a new high. You need to stop obsessing with the amount of calories you burn while working out. Instead a high intensity exercise program will require more energy output during the session and thus will result in a greater energy expenditure during your post-exercise recovery. You will burn more calories for 24-48 hours AFTER your workout!
For fat loss purposes, it is more effective to perform an exercise program that will induce your additional energy expenditure.
Stop obsessing about how many calories you burnt in your last cardio session and take your intensity to an increased high. The fat loss benefit to you is, increased results in minimal time.
Anyone can allocate 4 minutes a day to exercise. No more excuses just results.
Try this one…
Prisoner Squats 20 seconds
Push-ups 10 seconds
No rest and repeat
8 Sets
That’s it 4 minutes and you’re done! But say hello to your new increased metabolic rate!

A BIRTHDAY THANK YOU!
First, I want to thank all of you for your birthday wishes! Even if most of your emails and text messages were cracks at my young age, which I did get a few laughs out of! It was truly overwhelming and impossible for me to respond to all of you. So I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart!
With that being said I am going to give back to you! When I launch my website I will be giving away a FREE REPORT! So keep your eyes peeled!
I have enjoyed hearing from many of you over the past 3 months! I encourage you to respond with questions and comments. They do help me and they will help you in the long run. So keep them coming! And if I don't respond right away, I apologize, I will get to them as soon as possible!
In the meantime I wanted to share a story with you!
As many of you know by now my brother, Robert, is a United States Marine. Well, he has taken over the P.T. on his base, which I think in the Marines is short for PHYSICAL TORTURE.
He was the first to contact me on my birthday, calling me at 3:30am his time 6:30am my time, 03:30 for you military brats! I was in the middle of a BOOT CAMP at work. They got to take a break for a minute, while I ran upstairs to speak with him. We spoke shortly, but he called me again today. In our phone conversation he and I discussed our training strategies. He with his Marines and I with my clients. You know what?
Marines aren't much different than YOU and I! They want to look and feel different as well!
Many of the Marines he trains are older higher ranking officers. Their bodies aren't what they use to be! So they want to know how to change! And can you guess how they are going to make a serious change? BY WHAT GOES IN THEIR MOUTH!
My brother asked me to put together a presentation about nutrition. So I told my brother I would work on a presentation this weekend that he can supply to his fellow Marines to make them understand the IMPORTANCE OF NUTRITION!!
You see he and I share our torture secrets. So in return he is going to give me a few more that I have been overlooking! EXCITING!
Oh and guess what else my brother told me and it comes to no surprise! Many of the movements his fellow Marines use to get in shape are BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES!
How awesome is that!
Give this one a try!
"Y" Squats 20 reps (Arms up in a Y), Spiderman Crawls 20 reps (10per)(start in a up push-up position and step to the outside of your body and towards the outside of your hand with the leg from the same side), Jump Squats 10 reps, Push-ups 10 reps. Rest 30 seconds and repeat 3 times.
After you finish, do this "core" circuit.
Plank 30secs, Mountain Climbers 24 (12per), Side Plank (30sec side), Spiderman Crawl 24 (12per). And repeat 3 times.
Good Luck! Let me know how fast you complete it!

Beantown is Reborn!
I am about to relax and watch my Boston Celtics in game 3 of the NBA Finals. For the record they are up 2-0, in the best of seven series vs. the L.A. Lakers. The game has me thinking about the importance of setting goals.
All too often people jump into an exercise program without analyzing why it is they are embarking on the voyage in the first place. What it is that they truly want to accomplish?
Make yourself aware of why it is you are dedicating yourself to exercise and healthy eating habits, day in and day out. Take the time out and write down your goals. Make sure you include not only your long-term goal, but short-term goals that will only bring you closer to the finished product.
So, what does this have to do with the Boston Celtics. The Celtics have entirely transformed their organization in one year. From worst record in the NBA to BEST! All in the span of one year! I can assure you it all started with a vision. They are now 2 wins away from achieving that vision, an NBA Championship!
How far away are you? Are you headed in the right direction? Need motivation and guidance? Let me know...

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!
I have never been much of a person who goes overboard celebrating on my birthday. Unless of course you count my 21st, that might have lasted an entire week! But that is ancient history! Actually, I seem to find myself working every year on my birthday. This year will be no different but starting in June I am going to continue to put you and your continued success as a major priority in my life.
You will begin to hear from me on a daily basis. I am going to do this for two reasons. One, I want you to have a daily coach to guide you through the rigors of your daily burn and your continued fitness success. Two, I want you to realize the importance of our communication with one another.
Something that has continually occured as I have gotten older, and yes I just said older, is that I have lost touch with many people. This has occured not with malice intent, but mainly because as the days go by it is inevitable, WE WILL CHANGE! Our lives change, our friends change, our jobs change, and our priorities change.
Many times we don't see it coming and simply move on with our lives as this change occurs. Lets not let this happen. Let me help you and help those just like you.
We can do this together!
