First, I want to thank all of you for your birthday wishes! Even if most of your emails and text messages were cracks at my young age, which I did get a few laughs out of! It was truly overwhelming and impossible for me to respond to all of you. So I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart!
With that being said I am going to give back to you! When I launch my website I will be giving away a FREE REPORT! So keep your eyes peeled!
I have enjoyed hearing from many of you over the past 3 months! I encourage you to respond with questions and comments. They do help me and they will help you in the long run. So keep them coming! And if I don't respond right away, I apologize, I will get to them as soon as possible!
In the meantime I wanted to share a story with you!
As many of you know by now my brother, Robert, is a United States Marine. Well, he has taken over the P.T. on his base, which I think in the Marines is short for PHYSICAL TORTURE.
He was the first to contact me on my birthday, calling me at 3:30am his time 6:30am my time, 03:30 for you military brats! I was in the middle of a BOOT CAMP at work. They got to take a break for a minute, while I ran upstairs to speak with him. We spoke shortly, but he called me again today. In our phone conversation he and I discussed our training strategies. He with his Marines and I with my clients. You know what?
Marines aren't much different than YOU and I! They want to look and feel different as well!
Many of the Marines he trains are older higher ranking officers. Their bodies aren't what they use to be! So they want to know how to change! And can you guess how they are going to make a serious change? BY WHAT GOES IN THEIR MOUTH!
My brother asked me to put together a presentation about nutrition. So I told my brother I would work on a presentation this weekend that he can supply to his fellow Marines to make them understand the IMPORTANCE OF NUTRITION!!
You see he and I share our torture secrets. So in return he is going to give me a few more that I have been overlooking! EXCITING!
Oh and guess what else my brother told me and it comes to no surprise! Many of the movements his fellow Marines use to get in shape are BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES!
How awesome is that!
Give this one a try!
"Y" Squats 20 reps (Arms up in a Y), Spiderman Crawls 20 reps (10per)(start in a up push-up position and step to the outside of your body and towards the outside of your hand with the leg from the same side), Jump Squats 10 reps, Push-ups 10 reps. Rest 30 seconds and repeat 3 times.
After you finish, do this "core" circuit.
Plank 30secs, Mountain Climbers 24 (12per), Side Plank (30sec side), Spiderman Crawl 24 (12per). And repeat 3 times.
Good Luck! Let me know how fast you complete it!
Dedicated to your fitness success,
Tyler English, NASM-PES, CPT
